What colleges do your graduates attend?
Students in the past few years have attended the University of Texas, Texas A&M, Embry Riddle, St. Edwards, Calvin College, U.S. Air Force Academy, West Point, Rice, Stanford, Duke and Baylor just to name a few. Visit the "You Can Get There From Here" page for a complete listing of college acceptance offerings.
Do your students wear uniforms?
Yes, the uniform dress code is intended to create an atmosphere free from distraction. In addition, it serves to dispense with competition due to outward appearance and affluence, de-emphasizes outward appearance in favor of inner beauty and character, serves as an economy measure for parents, enhances school spirit, and allows students to demonstrate submission to authority.
Does NCA have a sports program?
Absolutely, Northeast Christian has a well established history of excellence in athletics. We compete in TAPPS (Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools) and have won 6 state championships in boys basketball, 4 state baseball championships, 4 state swimming championships, one state championship in boys track and one state championship in girls tennis. Students can chose from a variety of sports at the high school and middle school level.
Do you provide after school care?
Yes, in today's busy world it is not always possible to drop off your child when school starts or pick up your child when school is dismissed. NCA has an extended care program to provide adult supervised child care. Supervision is available beginning at 7:00 am each morning (including Tuesday late arrival day) at no additional charge. After school care is available from 3:00 until 6 pm everyday. There is an additional cost associated with after school care.
Is NCA Accredited?
Yes. NCA is dually accredited by the Association of Christian School International (ACSI, which is approved by TEPSAC) and Southern Association of College and Schools (SACS).
What are the criteria used to make an admissions decision?

There are three areas that are considered by the admission committee.

1. Students must be able to handle the academic work expected of them. Each student must score at grade level or above and have a proven track record of academic success.

2. Student recommendations must show that a student has a history of exhibiting the type of character that supports the beliefs and practices of NCA.

3. In the event that an incoming senior wishes to transfer to NCA from a local school or home schooling program, the applicant will be required to meet all minimum criteria for admission.  Further, once all steps in the application process are completed, the Board of Trustees must approve by a majority vote the admittance of the candidate.

Can I schedule an on-campus visit?
Yes, in order to understand the NCA Advantage you have to be here. Potential students are welcome to
" shadow" a NCA student for a day to see what being a Warrior is all about. Please contact the admissions office to schedule your visit.
Is it possible to enter mid-year?
We will always consider a transfer student if they meet all admissions criteria and there is space available.
How do I apply for tuition assistance?
NCA uses an independent third party to process all tuition assistance applications. You may apply for financial assistance by going to the tuition and fees page of this website and clicking on the FAST logo. Complete the online application and mail the requested tax documents to FAST. You will be notified by the NCA business office of the exact amount of tuition assistance you have been awarded before final enrollment.
Is NCA associated with or funded by a church or denomination?
NCA is a non-denominational Christian school that is totally tuition dependent.
Are NCA teachers certified by the State of Texas?
NCA teachers are required by the Board of Trustees to be certified by ACSI (www.acsi.org). Most teachers at NCA are also certified by the State of Texas. In addition to the academic standards required for state certification, ACSI requires Bible Study hours.
What curriculum does NCA use?
NCA teachers author curriculum using a variety of Christian and some secular text books as resources. All curriculum meets or exceeds state requirements and all subjects are taught from a Christian worldview.
